Peace of Mind

FROM THE INSIDE OUT

Do you find yourself feeling unworthy or undeserving of good things in your life? Do you often compare yourself to others and feel like you fall short? Do you feel like you're not good enough, no matter what you do? If so, you may be struggling with low self-worth. Low self-worth can be a very debilitating, negative force in your life. It can hold you back from achieving your goals and living a happy, fulfilling life. If you're struggling with low self-worth, it's important to seek out help and support to start overcoming these negative beliefs about yourself. If you are experiencing low self-confidence, it will carry over into every area of your life. You may feel depressed, deflated, or experience feelings of hopelessness. Are you looking to improve your confidence through the support of a therapist?

Your confidence is shaped by your upbringing, your relationships, and your experiences. It is a product of everything you have experienced up this point, and it can increase and decrease based on our circumstances and mental attitudes. What you believe about yourself is not static, and thought patterns can be re-aligned to grow confidence. With a little attention and guidance, you will be able to achieve amazing results in your mental attitudes that will have long-term effects in every area of your life!

I CAN HELP

Psychotherapy is one of the greatest ways to build your confidence. With our holistic approach, through a variety of methodologies, we will examine your underlying thoughts and beliefs, and together we will do the work of finding and building that faith in yourself. We can help you achieve the confidence to live your best life and know that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to!

In my practice, I help people overcome their feelings of low self-worth by teaching them acceptance and through supportive practices such as mindfulness. Self-worth is largely subjective and what one person finds valuable may not be important to another person. Instead of focusing on comparing yourself to others, it's important to focus on who you are and what your values are. When you learn to accept yourself for who you are, without judgement or criticism, then this can have a profound impact on your self-confidence. As we begin working together, I will help you develop a greater awareness of the thoughts that influence your feelings of self-worth.

I believe that everyone has the potential to lead a happy and fulfilling life, and I am committed to helping people reach their full potential.Building confidence involves increasing your belief in your own abilities, and developing a positive and realistic view of yourself. This can involve setting achievable goals, taking on challenges, and learning from your mistakes. It can also involve learning to accept yourself and your imperfections, and building positive relationships with others.

In therapy with me, you will learn how to challenge negative thoughts and beliefs about yourself, and develop a more positive and realistic self-view. You can also learn how to set and achieve goals, and build positive relationships with others. Some of the strategies that we will use can include everything from positive self talk to building healthy self esteem through accepting compliments. There are different therapy approaches that can help to improve self esteem. Many people benefit from cognitive-behavioral therapy, which helps people to identify and change negative thought patterns. Other approaches, such as interpersonal therapy and group therapy, can also be helpful in boosting self-esteem. If you're struggling with self esteem issues, I hope you will consider my services. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation so that we can discuss how I can help.

There are several different therapy strategies that we utilize that can be effective for boosting self-confidence and improving self-esteem. Some of these strategies include:

  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT): This type of therapy focuses on identifying and changing negative or distorted thoughts and beliefs that contribute to low self-esteem. In CBT, a therapist will work with an individual to identify their negative thoughts and beliefs about themselves, and develop more realistic and helpful ways of thinking.

  • Mindfulness-based therapies: These therapies, such as mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), focus on helping individuals become more aware of their thoughts and feelings, and respond to them in a more helpful way. In mindfulness-based therapies, a therapist will teach individuals how to cultivate mindfulness, or the ability to pay attention to the present moment without judgment. This can help individuals to let go of negative thoughts and beliefs about themselves, and develop a more positive and realistic self-view.

  • Solution-focused therapy (SFT): This type of therapy is focused on helping individuals identify and achieve their goals. In SFT, a therapist will work with an individual to set small, achievable goals, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles and challenges. This can help individuals to build confidence in their ability to achieve their goals, and develop a more positive and realistic view of themselves.

The benefits of improved self-confidence are many. You'll feel happier, more positive and optimistic about the future. You will be able to pursue your dreams and aspirations without being held back by self-doubt or fear of failure. Your relationships with others will improve as you are no longer bogged down by negativity towards yourself. You can start living life on your own terms and doing everything that you've always wanted to do.

I invite you to reach out for a free 15 minute phone consultation so that we can discuss how I can help you find the tools you need in order to feel more confident about yourself and your life.
