Whole Person Therapy is a holistic, private practice in Southern California that blends Western, evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Eastern philosophical orientations, such as Mindfulness Meditation. The mission of Whole Person Therapy is to empower and align people with their authentic self and life purpose, and in turn, achieve happiness within themselves. We provide effective therapy to clients that are interested in a holistic and mindful approach.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
Provide consultations that convert to clients.
Complete assessments while also setting - and tracking - goals for each client.
Provide evidence-based practices and effective therapeutic modalities.
Adhere to legal and ethical requirements while maintaining licensure.
Requirements for consideration:
Candidates must possess a PhD., PsyD., or Master’s degree in Psychology or Social Work.
Licensure required.
Ability and interest in providing therapy that blends spiritual practices such as Yoga, Mindfulness, etc. is preferred.
Certification or training in EMDR is preferred.
Additional certification or training in MBSR, DBT, CBT, Gottman, or Imago preferred.
Experience with/knowledge of inclusive psychotherapy with BIPOC is required.
Experience with/knowledge of interpersonal trauma recovery, minority stress, and grief is required.
Ability to present well and communicate effectively on video, in-person and over the phone.
Ability to engage with and understanding of electronic health records as well as telehealth.
Ability to complete all documentation in a timely manner.
Open to working nights and weekends.
Commitment to working with 15 to 24 clients a week.
Ability to make sound, professional and clinical decisions with little oversight.
